Ragusa Ibla, in the heart of south-eastern Sicily, is our home: every detail, in the streets, in the alleys and squares, tells fascinating and ancient stories. The Cathedral of San Giorgio, symbol of the Baroque, the characteristic masks of historic buildings, the extraordinary churches and noble palaces, have allowed our village to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Not by chance – now over twenty years ago – the director Sironi, together with Maestro Andre Camilleri, decided to shoot here many of the scenes of Il Commissario Montalbano.
